I spend 1-3 days learning to use each control. The documentation is very lacking for me. My latest chalange is the 3 days I have spend on using a grid. In the Tsmanian Traders example they have what I want to do with their Customer form, and Employee. Page1 of a pageframe contains text boxes that allow data entry in all fields of a record. Page 2 contains a grid that shows all the records. When you click on a record in the grid, page1 changes immediately to that record. I cannot find out how they do it!. In my use the data on page1 never changes no matter what I do to the grid. How do I do it? Also I want to buy a relly good book that discusses each control in great depth showing how to use the properties/methods. I bought "Usong Visual Foxpro 3" published by Que, but it is only partially useful. Any suggestions?
