Yikes. Not that it's any consolation- but also it happens in the smallest nations where people ought to be more connected to earth. Those who survive more than a term often seem to lose sight of the fact that the life they chose in politics is a career of service, not strutting around and lobbing shells at the enemy. Problem today is that many voters seem more motivated by the entertainment value of the sledges than whether the politician has anything worthwhile apart from a nasty tongue.
