People, even elected representatives, are entitled to have their own personal beliefs. What matters is that they act in the best interests of their constituency.

I have absolutely no faith in politicians. The two word "career" and "politician" do not belong together in the same sentence. It should be like it was when this country was founded, the politicians had real jobs from which they took time off to serve their country. Then they went back to their real jobs. We need term limits on all political offices in this country.
