I use cursor adapter in my VFP application that uses SQL Server (as well as VFP database). But for a one-time initial conversion from VFP to SQL I use a procedure that I wrote, very specify to my application. The procedure, goes table-by-table and converts the data from VFP to SQL.

HTH.
