Page 2 contains a grid that shows all the records. When you click on a record in the grid, page1 changes immediately to that record. I cannot find out how they do it!. In my use the data on page1 never changes no matter what I do to the grid. How do I do it? Also I want to buy a relly good book that discusses each control in great depth showing how to use the properties/methods. I bought "Usong Visual Foxpro 3" published by Que, but it is only partially useful. Any suggestions?

the grid is one of the most complicated objects in VFP because it has many options so don't be discouraged :)
anyway if the gird is bound to a table/view etc. and the record moves in that table (in the same data session) th grid will reflect the move
u might need to refresh the grid though
