When you start looking at the sales / revenue / profit figures and cash on hand it sounds less crazy (although no less ridiculous; these are huge numbers). 2014 revenue was $182.8 billion. They have a staggering $159 billion in cash. Their gross profit for 2014 was $78.48 billion. Their net income for the past 3 years have been around $37 - $41 billion dollars. I don't disagree there are a lot of "bubble" companies based on valuation vs profit (or profit potential), but I wouldn't include Apple in that list - at least not yet.
