Usually it's done via container with mouse commands for highlighting when you mouseover or click. You could do it with a button with blue background, Specialeffect=2 and experiment with themes on and off... issue is that the border shows whenever you click or mouseover and it stays selected after you click. If you can live with that, it's a button...
