>>>Hi everybody,
>>>
>>>I am trying to help my son in 5th grade and can not figure this out.
>>>
>>>He has the following words:
>>>
>>>accomplice, exultant, remorseless, sedate, apprehension, ponderous, revulsion.
>>>
>>>And we need to figure out this sentence:
>>>
>>>Sweet is to sour as ... is to light.
>>>
>>>We figured out all other examples, but this one I can not understand using the words I listed. I've checked each word in the dictionary as they are not easy to me as well.
>>>
>>>Thanks in advance.

>Sour is the opposite of sweet therefore we are looking for the opposite meaning here. My guess would be revulsion (darkness, evil) as the opposite of Sun (light)
FWIW, I'd reject that one based on part of speech. To be opposite to "revulsion," you'd want "lightness," I'd think.
