Hi,

I am having a tough time creating a SQL Select with two subqueries. I want to show all items in Parts table and for each record/row in this table I want to see the total qty received. The Parts table has a child table PoDet (P.O. items). And PoDet has a child table PoRec for all received items and quantities. Here is the structure (simplified):

Parts
PART_NO (c(25))

PoDet
PART_NO (c(25))
PoDet_PK (int Identity)

PoRec
PoDet_PK (foreign key related to the PoDet)
QTY_REC (quantity received)

Here is my attempt where I get bunch of errors:
SELECT Parts.PART_NO, R.TOT_REC FROM Parts P
LEFT JOIN (SELECT PoDet.PODET_PK FROM PODET) D ON P.PART_NO = D.PART_NO
LEFT JOIN (SELECT SUM(QTY_REC) AS TOT_REC FROM PoRec) R ON D.PODET_PK = R.PODET_PK
Of course the above is wrong. I would appreciate any help. TIA
