Hi,

I know this may have been beaten to death - but I need to know.

I have been told that FoxPro 9 has issues with SMB on all of the new windows servers versions. That the latest windows server software uses SMB 2 and does not work well with programs that use SMB 1. Apparently the indexes of DBF files will become corrupt with normal use.

Is that true.
Do you guy have to do anything to get FoxPro to run.

I realize that there is a way to change the SMB to SMB 1. But that means that the rest of the software must use SMB 1 instead of using SBM 2.

This is important - so if you could answer ASAP it would be helpful as I have client that wants to buy a foxpro 9 program which will have the DFB files on a windows server.

John
