Hi Tore,

I just examined my "report form" class code. There is a method which has a RETURN inside a WITH.. ENDWITH segment!

My question though is this:

This method though is not called during the Init(), when the form is still being constructed. It is only called when the forms finally appear, then the user selects his parameters, then clicks on the Go button, which fires this method which has WITH.. ENDWITH clause.

Why then does C00005 come out even before the form appears?

Thanks
Dennis

In the INIT of the form, it creates two CursorAdapter tables, one is a blank empty table which will be the RecordSource, while the other is a table containing metadata of the first table. The metadata has the ff info: field, fieldname, fieldtype. It then uses this info to create the grids columns.

I read somewhere that this (forms with grid in it) poses a problem when run the VFP menu using Command. So, I used a Procedure instead, then calling the form (DO FORM frmFormWithGrid).
