Sounds like the proper registry settings are not setup, but I have no idea what those are. I abandoned VSS years ago.

>Hi All,

>The helptext says: Each time you start Visual FoxPro, it checks for a source control provider.

>Who knows what this check actually consists of?

>I'm asking this, because since this afternoon I get the error 'An unspecified registry error occurred' and the tab Tools>Options>Projects no longer displays any source control provider.
>
>It appeared that the folder 'c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio\Common\VSS\win32\' contained only ssexp.exe. All other files were GONE!
>
>I have copied the same folder from another PC. The Windows Links now work again, but VFP still doesn't find any 'source control provider'.
