www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/scalias-perfect-capital-punishment-case-falls-apartIt's even more disgraceful that it takes a case like to demonstrate what should be evident to everyone:
a- capital punishment never makes sense
b- Scalia represents some of the worst aspects of American culture. Fortunately he is a member of a shrinking minority.
Scalia (a Trenton lad), his like-minded buddy from nearby Hamilton, Sam Alito, and Clarence Thomas make it almost impossible for anyone who thinks about it for more than five minutes to vote for a Republican candidate for president.
The possibility that someone like these people will be appointed to the court is too much to risk.
That's especially annoying right now because the probable Democratic candidate in 2016 is despicable in many other respects.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
