We use Chilkat for sFTP and have been in production with it for over a year, both against our own site and customer sites.

If anything doesn't work with Chilkat, and it's found that it should work based on the standard(s), Chilkat will get it fixed in weeks (if not sooner). Great to work with (which was have been doing for > 10 years).
