Absolutely not true. I've connected many USB devices under a Win8 VM
>Have you tried Win 10s VM? I've tested it in the Win 8 VM so it's not possible. But what I know about the WIN 8's VM is, that it does not handle USB. So possibly your solution has it's problems too :)
