Why wouldn't you use all tools at your disposal, especially ones as inexpensive as social media? You can use it for :
- Name recognition. Get the product/company name out there often
- Short blurbs about how your product solves problems
- Tips and tricks on how to use the product
- Links to case studies on how your current customers are using your product
- Announcements of new features/versions
- Another avenue for customer service/tech support
