>>I hate those reorganizations. My proverb for the web is that you can easily find anything on it, except twice.

LOL. My prediction for the new app/deep link world is that you can find anything whose vendor has paid the biggest advertizing fee or has struck a deal with a fellow behemoth from whose app you will be coming. Displacements by the small furry mammals will be more difficult. Before long, people like Rick will be able to observe that we should have been more careful what we wished for. Not that I wish for this- it's just what I can see happening in front of me. IMHO the only obstacle to corporate ownership of the mobile model will be if device radiation is found to be a health hazard.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
