To me, that would be probably that. I use "compound". Some mentions "combo". In fact, my tables are name IndexCombo, IndexComboField and IndexComboInclude. The first one is the definition of the index. The last two are the relational (field list for index and field list for included fields). I use that terminology as when moving from one backend to another, the terminology "compound" or "composite" might not be used or used for something else.
Note that I have a field note in my main table so I can put the reason why that index is created. So, later on, if support in the code is removed, at that exact location, I will remove the related index.
