Somehow I mixed up Win 7 and VFP 7 :)
The only way I know of is to catch the mouse events of the header (via eventbinding?) and change the grids tooltiptext. But commonly this requieres something with setfocus and API , for all what I remember, because you will be second in row. Check the download how they do it. I also found a class here what does similar things
In general, VFP 9 is worst then VFP 8 in that. IOW: I do not use Tooltiptext on grids since we've got VFP 9 (And I was a fan of it before)
