>>Yep - another unstable person with a gun - and another example of the racism problem in this country. South Carolina has streets named after Confederate generals and fly the Confederate flag at the state capital - which I notice yesterday was flying high and proud at full mast, while the USA flag was flying at half mast. Freakin stupid.

>What's stupid is the people who refuse to acknowledge what the majority of those people really believe.
>Let's not forget that in the last Republican primary those people thought that Newt Gingrich was the man they'd most like to have as the leader of the free world.
>They also elected Mark (soul mate) Sanford to the house after he returned from his disappearance as governor.
>It was not surprising at all that the current governor of SC said today that the suspect in the shooting case should be put to death before he was even indicted.
Well, this guy killed 9 innocent people; of course he should be either put to death or have a life sentence. He committed a flagitious crime, period.
I would be very surprised if you show me that the governor said exactly as you have "quoted him": "be put to death before he was even indicted."
And I bet if you ask 100 people on the street in your state as to what should be done to this guy, most will give you more or less the same answer.
And I know that 'everybody is innocent until proven guilty'.
