I want to preface my response by saying that I am no expert in this area. Further comments from anyone who is knowledgable in these things would surely be welcomed by all of us.

Concerning the 3 files you asked about, I will take some guesses...here is what I THINK they may do:

COMCAT.DLL -- May have something to do with managing (registering?) .DLL's and .OCX's.

FOXPRO.INT -- "International" stuff for handling non-English setups.

MSVCRT.DLL -- A Visual C++ runtime component.

Again, I would be grateful if anyone reading this post could enlighten us on what these (and other) components are and how they work.

Regarding your question about Josh's message, I think his response to Michelle was posted within the last week or so.
