Well, cigarettes are harmful every time, whereas a gun used lawfully (and intelligently, which sadly doesn't always occur) is far, far safer.

I suspend my libertarian ways when it comes to cigarettes. Hate them, think they're disgusting, and they could ban them all and I'd be fine with that.
