>That's sad, in deed. I always was a big Yes fan. Saying "Oh no" to this news may sound sort of disrespectful, given that somebody may think that I try to make a joke, but it summarizes my feelings very well. For the rest of the day I will only play Yes songs.

My top favorite Yes tracks :

From the Yes Album: Yours is no Disgrace, Starship Trooper, Seen All Good People
From Fragile: Roundabout, Heart of the Sunrise, South Side of the Sky
Close to the Edge: the entire album is a masterpiece....I've listened to every note a billion times.
Relayer: Gates of Delirium
Going for the One: Parallel Heights, Awaken,, Wonderous Stories
Tormato: Future Times, Release-Release, On the Silent Wings of Freedom
Drama: Machine Messiah, Into the Lens, Tempus Fugit

After that, I generally don't like any of their 80's or 90's releases. No disrespect to Travor Rabin and Tony Kaye but the band loses out when they don't have Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman. Big Generator has a few tracks that I like and Talk (from 1994) had a few surprises. And the 2 studio tracks they includes in Keys to Ascension in 1996 were a pleasant surprise. But I've always viewed Tormato and Drama as the end of their greatness.

I also like the ABWH album. The Union album was a trainwreck but their reunion did bring about a great live tour.

What a fantastic group. There will NEVER be another Yes. Never.
