What do you mean, promote candidacy based on scholarship? Obama didn't base his presidency run on doing 2 pre-graduate years at Occidental before moving on to Columbia before graduating magna cum laude from Harvard. Honors from Harvard is the outcome of his academic efforts and is the statement that matters whether he pursued a career in law or not. Surely only malicious gossips prefer to dissect rather than honoring the outcome of all those strenuous years at school and there's lots of reasons not to release his full academic record, not least that how you did in each paper in your late teens rarely determines your success in later life unless you are a prodigy or chose a career that requires a specific qualification.

The fact that Obama got into Harvard, secured a place in the highly prestigious Law Review and graduated with Honors means whether birthers like it or not, that he was no slouch. Even if he did play to certain attributes to increase his chances or finances, that's human nature and not corrupt, especially compared to dullard scions of Alumni donators securing places over Honors student children of blue collar workers. And despite determined efforts by legions of wannabe birther spies and scuttlebutters, there's not even a whiff of credible smoking gun relating to false grants unless people are convinced by the earlier citation dated April Fools' Day and demonstrably fake.

Sheesh, I hold no torch for Obama but have people forgotten Episode 4 of "Obamacare will cause the sky to fall," this time with the Supreme Court destined to strike it down and hurl the country into chaos? In fact the Supreme Court has already issued a decision to the sound yet again of deafening silence from those who claimed the sky would fall. In the eyes of reasonable people: the more hot air is blown at Obama, the easier it is for him to roll his eyes and say here they go again.
