>>>I eat carrots every day and an apple most days. I drink a ton of OJ. I take a supplement. I have Banana Nut Crunch every morning.

>Not addressed to anybody in particular but current general wisdom: not cheap, but we're supposed to aim for 6 fruit and veg servings/day. Drop the OJ, drink water and eat a California orange for the fiber and other benefits. Some supplements are OK. I don't know "Banana Nut Crunch" but I'm guessing it may contain sugared preserved banana pieces? That doesn't count. ;-) Check the sugar content and additives. If you want that sort of food, maybe check out one of the excellent natural mueslis I saw last time I was in a US supermarket. You're looking for whole nuts and grains when you look through the transparent part of the packet used by a manufacturer who is proud of the content. Not sweet enough? Natural yoghurt is cheap in the US. Good on your cereal and better than plain milk because of the lactose.
I drink 1% milk. Can't stand yogurt.
Growing up I drove my mother crazy. I drank a gallon of milk in 1-2 days....but always either 1% or skim. Even 2% seems a bit too heavy and I can't stand whole milk
