If people want to feel something when they drink, ice cold spring water carries a punch as does aerated water that is fairly cheap in the US. The aerated stuff is not so good for your teeth, but neither is pop or other sweetened beverage.
Because 1% milk goes better with brownies. :)

1% milk has protein, some vitamin A (though not beta carotene), calcium, etc. Remember, I worked in USDA/WIC for years...which means I got plenty of tips from the nutritionists I dated. :)
