I don't know either. One of the tech. people in the remote office reported that many applications, (non-fpw 2.6) had terribly slow response when talking to the central server. The problem may be site specific and not application specific.
On another topic, I think I read in a previous discussion that you were learning Visual Basic. If yes, does Visual Basic have an object model that allows developers to create generic classes and then allow sub-classing to make application specific objects? An example would be a Codebook style "business object".
