My family and I spent Saturday at a Fitz family gathering (about 50 of us.. one of my aunts was prolific) in Belle Harbor, NY- an Irish/Italian Catholic ghetto where every other house is owned by a member of the NYPD or the NYFD.
Much beer was consumed and many verses of Oh Danny Boy were sung.
I was surrounded by my cousins, their kids and grandkids - many of whom are cops or firefighters and worship at Bill O'Reilly's altar.
To a person, they said what you said, but when I asked for specifics, they had none.
They just hate this guy.
I love them all but on this issue we are miles apart.
