Yes, I'm "at a loss" too. So, did you use just SET CENTURY ON, without the second one with rollover? Would there be a difference in VFP6?

Well, the help file shows the syntax of the set century command as...
SET CENTURY ON | OFF | TO [nCentury [ROLLOVER nYear]]
I have always understood the | to mean optional, so in this case you can use ON or OFF or TO... that's why I thought it would be redundant to use both ON and TO...
Well, it seems like using both did do something in my code, but it isn't right for some reason.
