>I use VFP on Windows 2012 Server R2 and on Windows 2008 Server. I was able to make the Windows 2008 server PCI compliant because we do some Credit Card processing so I do not understand why you cannot have VFP on your server. I will be making the Windows 2012 server PCI compliant as well.

>My servers are also hosted in a Data centre and like yours they wanted to upgrade the servers from Windows 2003. So they just gave me new servers to configure and once I was satisfied they were working correctly they took the old Windows 2003 servers out of service. It seems your provider was irresponsible in not giving you time to migrate your application to a new server before upgrading everything without warning.

Yes they were irresponsible and when I threatened them with a compensation cliam for lost business they immediately climbed down and restored the original server

>>We are likely to loose a very important client spending many thousands of £ per annum if we do not resolve the problem quickly, and I am under pressure from Global Options management to explore claims for compensation if we do not get a speedy resolution to this problem.
