>>So JR, is that good enough for you? :)
You've ignored my pleas for accuracy and complied a giant straw man treatise to rebut something that you made up yourself.
So here it is again:
>>You show me a community "leader" who cynically counts up his contributions in the manner you suggest and I'll show you somebody who most likely is a mercenary trougher who wants to tick the boxes for another year of vendor feed.
Do you see your name in there? Are you a leader or a "leader?" Do you deploy gongs and cymbals to advertise your awesome generosity or are you a get on and do it sort? I'm intrigued that you immediately perceived that comments were about you and/or about some sort of vendor program from which I suppose you must derive benefits to immediately jump to this conclusion.
I'm not going to name names, but I'm fairly sure I've seen you cringe in another forum at a fellow's calculation and "if I told you non familiars this insider information I'd have to kill you and by the way Vista is super duper so all you head-in-sand plebs ought to buy immediately" attitude. Is that you? If not, then why pick yourself rather than the obvious?
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
