FWIW, I don't remember Dr. Dave showing up in the FoxForum, but that's where most of the luminaries of the community got known. I always credit FoxForum for starting my writing career.

And, of course, the UT was the first serious rival to CompuServe for the Fox community. I remember meeting Michel at DevCon when he was not much more than a kid.
