I'd rather have a simulated entry - whichever way you like it, perhaps just a label and textbox at the bottom of the form, and then whenever something's entered, add it to a listbox (or editbox) with the history of what was entered, which you'd put above it... something like a desk calculator tape. So you have a form and you can have your simple entry.
I'm using solution which uses grid and adds new row to grid automatically on entry.
I was looking for alternate one like in native bar code reader application.
Maybe Windows API have readline function and it can be called from VFP.
