Thank you for your reply. I'm using the Visual FoxExpress framework. It allows using and setting dynamic view parameters(VP) that can be placed inside a view parameter container (VPC) that can then be added to forms. The child form is related to the parent via their keys. The parent has the primary key(PK) and the child holds the foreign key to the parent (FK). The VPC was added to the child form and its FK was set to lookup the parent. The error occurs in the dochildform which is invoked by the callchild button's click event. It seems to be having trouble finding the lookup table that's used in relating the parent and child.
