Hi Jean-Marc
>I saw WS_FTP uses treeview (or equivalent control) but, if possible I'd prefer use DirListBox, in order to keep simple coding.
I haven't tried using the DirListBox control with it, but the following link points to a sample ftp application that shows how to use a TreeView with ftp. I know you didn't want to use that, but it will point you in the right direction I think.
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q175/1/79.asp>Not that I don't know how to use treeview, but my goal is to keep my apps lighter to distribute. I'm insurged against ZIP files weighting tons of bytes , I'm not an ISP feeder... Just have a look at MS site, their downloadable files are often 10 MB long...
I agree. I switch between Delphi and VB a lot, and I prefer Delphi's executables to VB (amoung other things). A Delphi application doesn't need any run-time files. Their executables tend to be larger, but require a lot less diskspace than a VB app with its runtime files.
Best,
