>>This is your imagination at work. I have not tried to pin a "kick me" sign on to you or anyone else. I have merely expressed an opinion. If you disagree, fine. There is no need to come out swinging.

LOL. You amplified the intended insult by referring directly to the Borg. You know exactly what you meant. To quote from Wikipedia:

>>The Borg were designed to evoke Transhumanism. With their frightening appearance, immense power, and, most importantly, their sinister motive, the Borg became the signature villains for the The Next Generation and Voyager eras of Star Trek.

Charming. Only a liberal could imagine insult in such a polite epithet.

>>It is not meant to insult at all. It is how I see you and Tamar and several other liberals around here. It seems to me that you think the many (fine, I call it the collective, if you don't like the term that is your problem. Get over it.) are way more important than the individual.

Just for accuracy: I've yet to see anybody deny that Carson is a highly impressive individual- but the fact is that the taxpayer funded his early education which is a tick for taxpayer funded assistance to poor communities. If you insist on converting that to other ideologies or think that's what the Borg did, that is your problem. Get over it.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
