I don't think I have ever used a reference to the Borg, but I generally don't use Star Trek references.

My issue with the topics you mentioned is that too many times, these policies wind up negatively impacting lower-middle and middle-income working families....and/or they backfire on the very people they are intended to benefit ( and sometimes "by design", in the case of Planned Parenthood).

And by the way...on the topic of health care...in a prior post, you sang the praises of Dr. Benjamin Carson and you questioned why I felt he had no business running for president. Surely you're aware that he's a HUGE critic of ACA and a vocal proponent of "repeal and replace", that he was hounded by the IRS shortly after his comments about ACA at the 2013 Prayer breakfast, and that the White House reported verbally warned Carson about "insulting" the President.
