>Didn't Obama call Afghanistan the "good" war? :)

Actually, I think he called Afghanistan a war of necessity vs Iraq- a war of choice.
He was obviously wrong about Afghanistan.
Obama is no liberal but he's been less prone to react to the daily mass hysteria than most pols and that has kept us out a lot of scrapes.
Bernie is the closest thing we have now to a liberal- but even he will waffle when you start talking about closing bases in New England.
Elizabeth Warren likes to talk like one, but most Harvard Law School prof's have had to sell out somewhere along the way to move ahead. She does a good job of whining, but she's short on concrete ideas.
My favorite liberal was Dennis Kucinich of Ohio, who retired from office. He was a true "rotten-talkin'" midwest champion of working people, opponent of wars, and opponent of large corporations in the mold of Robert La Follette.
My dream presidential contest would have pitted Dennis Kucinich against Ron Paul.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
