In less than a minute I was able to easily find 10 verifiable instances where licensed gun owners saved the lives of their families

A high % of law enforcement are in favor of civilians owning weapons for purposes of self-defense. That is a compelling argument.

Beyond that, my suggestion is that you do your own homework on this one. :)
