daily basis? I haven't GOOGLEd the statistics, but that seems a little exaggerated to me. Of course, I guess it all depends on how you define "mass shootings". I surmise that in a country as big as the US that there is probably a shooting somewhere in the country on a daily basis.
You're correct, it depends on what's meant by mass shooting - and apparently some will count even if there aren't fatalities.
