>>What's your opinion of #BLM members marching the streets screaming, "pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon"?

You mean the chanting during the planned march to a State Fair?

If they openly advocated killing cops, I'd say it is a scandal. But what exactly does this chant mean? It seems to play on the ancient "pig" epithet for cops that dates back to our youth or earlier. I believe a "pig in a blanket" is what others would call a sausage roll. So it's a play on words. Little different from sports chants I've heard, not just in the US but all over the world that suggest doing various things to the opponent- and lets not forget that the World Champion All Blacks do a haka at the start of their every game. A haka is a (Maori) war dance celebrating death in the imminent battle and used to include a throat-cutting motion until the PC brigade decided that was naughty. Huge audiences turning up to support the opponent love the haka, cheer, and protest if any official suggests it shouldn't happen.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
