I know.....that's why I referred to the author's "writings" in general, which have called for reparations.

No question, he paints a powerful picture of the sad history. If you could combine Coates' stories with the message and the vision from men like Benjamin Carson, that would be a fantastic direction. Take a look at some of the things Carson said a few weeks ago when he visited certain cities.
