I'm sorry she got put in jail because it makes her a martyr. What I heard is that the judge didn't think fining her would be sufficient because the groups backing her would pay the fines. In addition, she was asked whether she'd allow others in her office to issue licenses and she said "no." So she wants freedom of conscience but won't grant it to others in her office.

You don't need to help fund her. I assure you that the so-called religious liberty groups are doing so.

I have two good analogies for this case. First, imagine it's 1967 and the Loving decision has just come down. Would you admire a county clerk who wouldn't issue marriage licenses to interracial couples for religious reasons?

The second one, I've seen all over in the last week or so. Would it be okay for a government worker who was a Quaker to refuse to issue gun licenses because it's against her religion? Davis has every right to act in accord with her beliefs, but she doesn't have the right to public office if she's not willing to uphold the law.
