You're right...switching from dBase to Fox was a very easy decision.
As much as I love SQL Server, I've always said that the two biggest software releases in my lifetime (when looking at the era of the release) were Turbo C in 1987 and then FoxPro in 1989. The PC-based developer/analyst had some awesome tools to use. Honorable mention to the boys in Canada at Sequitur Software, makers of CodeBase. By the early '90's, I had the holy grail....a C application that could utilize Fox tables at Rushmore-level speed. Those were the glory days
