This is my problem. The table is in a DBC. I INDEX ON fieldname TAG tagname and do a VALIDATE DATABASE after that. And the VALIDATA gives an error saying that the index is not in the Database.

Next I will try to explicitly SET DATABASE TO before I do the INDEX ON.
