Really Confused now...
A few months ago..when I had the compile error "File is not open", it had started happening after running Avast.
The fix turned out to be to go into "Settings/Exclusions" (in Avast) and indicating file paths to be skipped when scanning. I'm not sure how that helped but it did since I never got that compile error again.

Now, yesterday I ran Spybot and now I'm getting that same "file is not open" error when I try to compile. I have not run Avast since months ago. I tried the same exclusion in the Avast settings, but it hasn't helped.

I could really use some help here. Can anyone shed some light on this?
