>It's sad that it's hard to pick the dumbest thing said during this election. Watching Jeb say "my brother kept us safe. remember the ruble?" during the debate made me want to puke. The fact that none of the other candidates jumped on that was shocking. Like how can he say his brother kept us safe and then mention the giant pile of rubble in NYC that happened on his watch in the same breath and actually get away with it?

Bush had been president for 8+ months..- it's not like he'd been in office two weeks or something. It happened on his watch, along with blowing up the wrong country for it too. Bill gave us 8 years of peace and prosperity, Bush got us into a war with the wrong country and the end result was it completely destabilized the whole region and created more terrorists that before. Of course Cheney and Bush are going to blame Clinton - hell you ask Cheney today and he STILL thinks they did the right thing.
