Right- so you're with the other vendors who consider it impractical to process the lookups locally so end up doing the tests at save rather than in real time. Seems to me that local dbfs pass KISS with flying colors and I don't think I can remember a support ticket this century relating to the lookups. Meanwhile we do advocate storage of the live data in SQL Server and have done so since VFP3.
