>Hi Bill and thanks but I don't understand what you mean by localhost/reports
OK
This was confusing to me and still often is.
Whoever thinks these things up at MS must be brilliant.
Anyway-
There's a Report Builder.
There's a Report Server.
There's a Report Server Manager aka Report Manager aka Manager.
You know to access the Report Builder
You can access the Report Server using the url localhost/ReportServer
When you do that, you can see the reports that are on the Report Server and run them by clicking on them
You can access the Report Server Manager using the url localhost/Reports
When you do that, depending on how you installed everything, you might see a Report Builder there that you can use to build and run reports on the server.
In addition, there is a folder setting button that allows you to assign roles to users. That might help with your inability to see server reports from the Report Builder.
Anyone who does not go overboard- deserves to.
