>Yes, ISIS is the threat-du-jour.
>You forgot to mention communists, Castro Cubans, Nazis, Bolsheviks, Anarchastics, Iranians, Palestinians, members of the Black Hand, Pakistani's, Al Quaeda, the republic guards, some members of the IRA, most Asians, and lots of other people who have been at one time or another threats-du-jour.

>In fact, with exception of 9/11, deaths from foreign terrorists pale as a threat to the US populace when compared with gun-related murders, mass shootings and domestic terrorists like Timothy McVeigh.

If we would properly deal with the legitimate foreign threats (and by the way, that "you forgot" line was about as vapid as it gets), there wouldn't be as much of a pressing need for the domestic protections. That also goes for holding another countries accountable for human rights violations (especially when we offer to lift sanctions)

And a high majority of gun related homicides are gang related. Funny, but when the president goes on TV and goes on a lecture, he fails to mention that.

I still like you, Bill :)
